LOST PET INVESTIGATIONS

Dear Nicole (and of course Spencer and Brie),

I can't thank you and your dogs enough for the closure and compassion you provided. Even though the outcome was not what I had hoped it did explain a lot of questions. Brie is so sweet and watching Spencer work was awesome. That false scent you do with him is so cool and he is just beautifully focused when he works. The 3 of you are too cool and I will forever be grateful! I will send you a photo soon.

Hi Nicole,

We found the dog!!!  Thank you so much for your advice and for taking the time to discuss options with me on the phone.  You were definitely a big help for me in a pretty stressful situation.

Welcome Home Pepper!

This sweet Australian Shepherd escaped from a home 2 states away!  She was on the go for a week and we tracked her into some corn and bean fields!  She had found a safe place to stay with plenty of access to fresh water - smart girl!  She is now back home safe and sound.

Welcome Home Lucy!

We are all so very happy you are home safe and sound after 5 days lost!

Nicole,
Thank you very much for your assistance during your time in Colorado. Even though we never went on an official search, the documentation you provided me and conversation we had proved very useful. Your compassion and understanding showed me that there is light at the end of the tunnel and helped me to understand my pet's behavior. When I ran across your article, to me it was fate that we were connected. If I hadn't re-designed my flyers in preparation for Thursday and handed those out on Tuesday evening after the rain.......Lucy may not have come home last night.  I think our casual, non-threatening conversation was heard by her and she was comfortable and ready to come out of hiding.  It was almost instantaneous from the minute we walked in the door to when we heard her first meows. I was overwhelmed with joy and relief.  God answered my prayers and I learned so much from this experience. I learned how to be patient, understanding, and how to reach out for help. I met the most amazing people on this journey and am now acquainted with my neighbors. God sent me angels in so may ways, it truly is a blessing all the way around.

I hope you had a safe trip home....

Welcome Home Cheyenne!
4 1/2 MONTHS MISSING!  Cheyenne is now very happily back home!!!

The "story of Cheyenne" as all of Seattle refers to this one.  This dedicated owner refused to give up hope. Cheyenne went missing in April after she escaped from a groomers facility. After 7 weeks missing we did a 2 day on site search and quickly realized this brilliant dog knew how to keep herself safe, away from roads, near water, and was learning her way around the city of Tukwila and surrounding areas.  Sightings would come in floods and then her owner would hear nothing for weeks on end.  For 4 and a half months her owner stopped working, lost sleep, posted THOUSANDS of posters, and most importantly believed in her dog!

Cheyenne is now back home with her older sister Star, and her new little brother Zeke - and nobody could be happier than her mom and dad!

Congratulations to all of you.

Welcome Home Zeke!

Zeke is home after being gone for 10 days on the streets in Colorado - and the POSTERS helped bring him home!

"Hi Nicole!
I just wanted to let you know I found Zeke last night! I so fully appreciate all the insight you gave to us during the harrowing 10 days that he was gone. It was our posters that lead us to recover him--but he was far, far out of our area--luckily, the woman who called me saw our poster over near us, and finally got a number for the little lost dog she had been seeing in her neighborhood. Thank you so much, Nicole for all your help. I admire you so much for what you do, so keep up the good work!

Sincerely,
Julie Hunt"

Welcome Home Bean!
- 25 days missing!   And a feature on KSL TV in Salt Lake

Bean went on a "walk about" on June 2, 2007 from his kitty sitter's home.  On site search with the K9 team brought us just over 3 miles away consistently trekking through commercial and residential areas.  Oddly enough nobody had seen him between point A and point B.  His location took us much further than his mom and dad had been looking. This sweet boy is now home!
