Important links So many times
our pets ID tags get lost and they are then without proper identification. As a Pet Detective I am oftentimes hearing owners
say "My dog/cat just lost their tag a few days ago and now they are missing." What better way to always keep your
contact information on your pet than an embroidered collar? This has been an invaluable way for me to always keep my contact
information on my dogs without worry! Click here to view the products and place an order. 5% of each order placed through
this website will go to the Humane Society. Thank you! Embroidered Collars
A FABULOUS website for insight, information, tools and strategies to help
you help your missing pet! Remember, while Pet Detectives and their team of dogs are without a doubt an asset in many situations
there are also many actions pet owners can implement on their own. www.missingpetpartnership.org
While many Pet Detectives work
nationally there may be someone close to you. When your pet goes missing it is EXTREMELY important that you check all
shelters personally! It is not enough to simply call or fax a photo to them and rely on the shelter to verify if your pet
has been turned into them. Shelters are extremely busy places and not only do faxes and photos get misplaced but people view
animals differently and what you may call a Maltese someone at the shelter may log in as a Lhaspo Apso. You may consider your
cat a large sized Maine Coon but the shelter may perceive your cat simply as a DSH. Most shelters will only hold an animal
for 72 hours before making that pet available for adoption! That is not a long period of time by any measure so timing is
critical. Check the shelters personally and frequently and be sure you are aware of ALL shelters in your area. Pet Detectives Near You
