The pet detective industry is a fledgling one and with it come continuously
new ideas, new strategies and new theories. Some can easily be proven and others are more difficult to prove. That being said
the most important thing above "theories" and "maybe's" is the fact that when your pet goes missing there
is experienced and knowledgeable help available to you!
Shelters, posters, fliers and microchipping are all wonderful
tools but the reality is that they do not always provide the necessary means to bringing your lost pet back home.
There are never any guarantees in life, and while using these specially trained dogs is no different there has been great
success in this industry. Many pets are now home safely due to the hard work, dedication and compassion of a pet detection
team.
With so few pet detectives in the country we each do things a little differently, and we learn from each
others experiences. Our differences enable us to help so many pet owners with their unique situations - whether it be your
outdoor access cat that has been lost for a month, your indoor cat that somehow escaped, or your dog that fled while in the
care of another. So until the day that our dogs can look right at us and say for sure how long a scent is viable, or exactly
how they are able to easily track an outdoor access cat all we can do is our absolute best to read and understand our teams
